BANITSIOTIS JOINS THE BELLEVILLE BULLS

Press Release

Stouffville Spirit rookie netminder Braydon Banitsiotis has been called up to join the Belleville Bulls of the Ontario Hockey League.

The 17-year old native of Ancaster, Ontario joined the the Spirit this season and in seven games played has posted a 3-4 record while playing against some of the stronger North-East Conference teams.  The lanky 6'4" netminder covers much of the net and has a very bright future ahead of him.  Called-up to the Bulls with netminder Malcolm Subban away at Team Canada's World Junior Selection Camp, Banitsiotis will remain with the Bulls after the holidays with Subban in Ufa, Russia representing Canada at the 2012 World Junior Championship.

Congratulations to Braydon and best of luck in his first taste of the OHL.
