AJHL hosting Non-league showcase on tap for Simsbury

The Atlantic Junior Hockey League (AJHL) will host a non-league showcase this weekend (Dec. 14-16) at International Skating Center of Connecticut in Simsbury, Conn.


All AJHL teams but the Philadelphia Jr. Flyers will participate in the event, with three games - Friday’s Connecticut Wolfpack-Northern Cyclones contest; Saturday’s Walpole Express-New Jersey Titans game; and Sunday’s Wolfpack-Titans contest - counting towards the regular-season standings.

The A division of the showcase, sponsored by Total Hockey, will include all 11 AJHL teams, as well as Bridgton Academy (Maine) and National Sports Academy (Lake Placid); the B division will comprised of the Metropolitan Junior Hockey League’s New Jersey Rockets, Metro Moose, Wolfpack, Titans, Express and Jr. Nationals and the Empire Junior Hockey League’s Jr. Bruins and Bridgewater Bandits.

All games will be broadcast live via the Internet through FASTHockey.com.

The final AJHL Showcase of the season will be held over Presidents' Day Weekend (Feb. 15-18) at Iorio Arena in Walpole, Mass.
