REBELS' ACQUIRE GAUDET FROM BLAZERS

RED DEER, AB – Brent Sutter, Owner/President/General Manager of the Red Deer Rebels Hockey Club, announced today they have acquired 18-year old defenceman Brady Gaudet from the Kamloops Blazers in exchange for a 3^rd round selection in the 2013 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft.

Gaudet is in his third year in the WHL, and was the Blazers first round pick, 10^th overall, in the 2009 WHL Bantam Draft. He has played in 117 games with the Blazers, scoring 7 goals and 27 assists for 34 career points. Gaudet has also played 11 WHL playoff games and has 3 points. He's expected to be in the Rebels lineup on Tuesday when the Rebels host the Regina Pats, 7:00PM at the ENMAX Centrium.
