PATS ACQUIRE MAYOR AND HAK FROM REBELS

Regina, Saskatchewan – The Regina Pats have completed a trade with the Red Deer Rebels, acquiring forward Colten Mayor (’93) and defenceman Stephen Hak (’94) in return for a fourth round and conditional sixth round pick in the 2015 WHL Bantam Draft Picks.

Mayor (6’1”, 176 lbs) has three goals in eleven games with the Rebels this season.  In 2011-12, the St. Albert, Alberta product totaled 38 points (14 G, 24 A) in 52 games for Red Deer.  Mayor adds a veteran presence to the Pats lineup with 168 WHL games already under his belt.

Hak (6’1”, 187 lbs) has one full season of WHL experience that he brings to the Pats.  Last season, he dressed in 55 games while totaling six points and finishing the year as a +2 in the plus/minus category.  Prior to playing for the Rebels, the Winnipeg, Manitoba native skated for the Steinbach Pistons of the MJHL.
