Omaha 16U defenseman Evers makes NCAA DI

The Omaha AAA 16U Hockey Club, proud members of the North American Prospects Hockey League (PHL) is pleased to announce that Christian Evers, a 1997 birth year defenseman from Des Moines, Iowa has accepted a full scholarship to play NCAA Division I Hockey at the University of North Dakota.
Evers is in his first season with the Omaha AAA 16U team and so far this season has posted 2 goals and 8 assists for 10 points to go along with 14 PIM in 10 games overall. In PHL action to date,  Evers has posted 1 goal and 3 assists and 4 PIM in 4 league games.

The 6'4 and 195 pound defenseman was highly recruited and scouted  by many NCAA DI schools and is widely considered to be one of the top rated 1997 birth year defensemen in the country.

Evers is the second player from this years Omaha AAA 16U Team to accept a scholarship to play hockey at a Division I school and is coming from a very hot Omaha AAA 16U program that is now consistently developing some very high end hockey players.

Omaha next PHL action begins on Saturday, November 10th as they take to the ice in the PHL's third regular season event of the season in Romeoville, Illinois.
