Press Release
The Merritt Centennials have traded forward Brayden Low (94) to the Powell River Kings for future considerations.
Low, who's from Steveston, BC, was into his second season as a
Centennial. In 47 games, he posted five goals and 11 assists for 16
points.
“I have the utmost repsect for Brayden as a person
and as a hockey player, but unfortunately we needed to make room on our
roster to add a defenseman." said Cents GM & Head Coach Luke Pierce.
"We had not anticipated Brayden returning from the Western Hockey
League and had built our team based on that."
"Brayden
played very well for us the past two weeks and we will miss his presence
and character," Pierce continued. "We feel we can now move forward and
work with this roster to solidify the type of team and identity we will
have."
The Centennials would like to thank Brayden for his
many contributions to our community and our team and wish him all the
best in Powell River.
