Sven Andrighetto, Angelo Miceli and Antoine Bibeau were named the TELUS
three stars for the period extending from October 8th to 14th.

Huskies’ European forward collected 9 points in 4 games on the road,
scoring 4 goals on 26 shots while maintaining a +/- of +6. The
Huskies came back from the Maritimes with 7 more points in the
standings, good for second place in the standings with 17 points just
behind the Halifax Mooseheads. The 19-year-old Swiss collected 4 assists
against the Acadie-Bathurst Titan on Wednesday in a 5-4 win. He was
awarded the 2nd star with three of his assists ending up in the net
courtesy of teammate Jean-Sebastien Dea. Friday, he played another great
game scoring 2 goals and adding an assist in a 6-5 shootout loss.
Saturday, his team won 6-3 against the PEI Rocket during which
Andrighetto registered a marker. Sunday, he scored the Huskies’
game-winning goal. Sven Andrighetto is in 2nd place among league
point-getters with 22 points in 11 games, one point behind his
teammate, Jean-Sebastien Dea.
Angelo Miceli, the Victoriaville
Tigres forward is the second star of the week. In a 4-3 loss to the
Baie-Comeau Drakkar last Wednesday, he recorded 2 points, including 1
goal. Saturday, in a 5-4 loss at the hands of the Drummondville
Voltigeurs, he added another 2 points, including 1 goal. Finally, in a
5-3 win on Sunday against the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada, Miceli
collected 2 goals and 2 assists and was named the 3rd star of the game.
The
third star of the week belongs to PEI Rocket goaltender Antoine Bibeau.
On Wednesday, he posted his first career shutout, a 4-0 gem over the
Saint John Sea Dogs in which he pushed away 22 shots. Friday, in a 4-3
Rocket victory, he made 21 saves.
