OHL Announces Disciplinary Action

Toronto, ON – The Ontario Hockey League today announced the results of a review of an incident which occurred in Game 1 of the Rogers Eastern Conference Championship Series between the Niagara IceDogs and the visiting Ottawa 67’s Hockey Club involving player Marc Zanetti of the 67's.

Such review included a telephone hearing earlier today, Saturday April 21, 2012, involving player Marc Zanetti, 67’s General Manager and Head Coach Chris Byrne, and the league. Based on such review it is the position that player Marc Zanetti shall be suspended indefinitely with a final decision to be rendered in the near future.
