The Humboldt Broncos have announced that 1994-born defenseman Cody Pettapiece will join the University of Alaska-Fairbanks Nanooks for the start of the 2014-2015 season, meaning he will suit up for the Broncos again next season as an 18-year-old.
Pettapiece appeared in 30 games, and had 7 points (1g-6a) this past season. He had 50 points (15g-35a) in 42 games with the Saskatoon Contacts in AAA Midget last season.

The Notre Dame Hounds are moving a 20-year-old forward to the next level.
After leading the Hounds in scoring in his last season of junior, Todd Christian will return to his home state and play for the University of Connecticut.
