Press Release
CCHL academic all stars combine excellence both on the ice and in the classroom. For the first time in CCHL is recognizing these gifted students and athletes with the initiation of an academic all star team.
Each team nominated one player and a goalie that they feel is their academic all star. Each player nominated was evaluated according to both hockey excellence and academic performance. In the coming weeks the CCHL will highlight the accomplishments of these gifted players.
Academic excellence of the nominated players was evaluated based on information provided by the players and the team on Rinknet. Rinknet is the world's largest and most comprehensive scouting software company, serving 29 of 30 NHL teams, the majority of NCAA and CHL teams and the entire CCHL-the only Junior A league in North America that has full membership.
Based on the academic criteria, we are proud to announce to 2011/2012 Academic All Star Team
