The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League confirmed today that the Gatineau Olympiques traded defenseman Hubert Labrie to the Victoriaville Tigres for a 5th round pick in 2012.
Labrie spent 4 seasons in an Olympiques uniform. In 192 games with Gatineau, he scored 10 goals and collected 38 assists for a total of 48 points.
Known for hisdefensive and physical play, Hubert Labrie was captain of the Olympiques for a season and a half.
He is presently playing in the East Coast League for the Idaho Steelheads which are affiliated to the Dallas Stars.
