Riders Forward Saracino Commits to Providence College

Cedar Rapids RoughRiders forward Nick Saracino has committed to play hockey at Providence College following his USHL career.

The second-year USHL forward leads the RoughRiders with 10 points (2g, 8a) through eight games this season. He also leads the entire League with a plus-14 rating. The St. Louis, Missouri native has recorded three consecutive multi-point games, collecting seven points (1g, 6a) and a plus-eight rating over that span. Saracino, 19, tallied 25 points (7g, 18a) in 52 games during his rookie USHL season in 2010-11.

Also committed to Providence College is Youngstown Phantoms forward Brent Norris. Providence is a member of Hockey East and has four USHL alumni on the roster this season; Mark Adams (Chicago Steel), Barrett Kaib (Team USA), Stefan Demopoulos (Omaha Lancers), and Alex Velischek (Sioux City Musketeers).
