Jody Hull joins Team Canada U18 Team

The Peterborough Petes are proud to announce that Assistant Coach Jody Hull has been named the Video Coordinator for Hockey Canada’s National Under 18 Team that will take part in the Memorial of Ivan Hlinka World Under 18 Championship in the Czech Republic and Slovakia from August 8th-13th.

Jody will begin working with Head Coach Steve Spott and his team of Assistant Coaches beginning July 27th in Calgary Alberta.

The Memorial of Ivan Hlinka World Under 18 Championship brings together the best Under 18 aged players. Many of whom will be top NHL Draft Picks in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. Team Canada will be comprised of the best 1994 born players from the CHL and other leagues.

Team Canada will be put together following an Evaluation Camp in Calgary. Forty-two players, including Slater Koekkoek of the Peterborough Petes will be invited to the camp with 22 players being selected to join the team in the Czech Republic.
