Hilton Commits to Penn State for 2012-13 Season

The Sherwood Park Crusaders are proud to announce that current Crusaders Captain Jessi Hilton has committed to Penn State for the 2012-13 season.

Jessi Hilton is a Sherwood Park Kings Club Alumni and lives in Sherwood Park with his family. He is entering his 4th season with the Crusaders and is coming off a season that saw him lead the Crusaders in scoring. He notched 28 goals & 22 assists for 50 points while suiting up for all 60 regular season games. Penn State head coach Guy Gadowsky says " We are really happy to add a player of Jessi's calibre to our Penn State program and we look forward to seeing him lead the Sherwood Park Crusaders this upcoming season both on & off the ice".

"I am very excited for this opportunity at Penn State and looking forward to this upcoming season in Sherwood Park where I can continue to work on my game to help me play at the next level" says Hilton. The Pennsylvania State University was founded in 1855 and is one of the nation's largest and most successful universities. Penn State offers nationally ranked programs many fields including Engineering and Business. Also, as a member of the Big Ten Conference, Penn State offers a unique atmosphere not only academically, but athletically and socially as well.

The Crusaders organization congratulates Jessi and his family and wish success in his future academically and athletically.

Jessi becomes the 4th Crusader to commit to a post secondary institute from the 2011-12 hockey team.
