Central Canada Hockey League resigns multi-year agreement with Pointstreak Sports Technologies Inc.

Press Release

TORONTO, ON – Pointstreak Sports Technologies Inc. (“Pointstreak”) and Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL) are pleased to announce they have reached a long-term agreement which will see Pointstreak build and maintain a comprehensive league wide web portal network that will provide more functionality, real-time information and the opportunity to deliver valuable online digital video highlights and additional real estate for their corporate partners. Under the terms of the agreement Pointstreak will continue to provide its industry leading real-time technology platforms of statistics and design and host the CCHL member clubs websites. In addition the league member teams will be utilizing the Live Publisher product to produce instantaneous video highlights. Pointstreak will also continue to provide its real-time scoring technology to the 12 member clubs which will enable up-to-date results to be posted immediately on the CCHL website.

Ken Cook, COO of Pointstreak commented, “Pointstreak is proud to continue its relationship with the CCHL as its website and official real-time scoring and statistics provider and we are excited about the opportunity to aid in the profile and exposure of their student athletes. The ability for CCHL to be able to offer all interested stakeholders (media, parents, scouts, coaches etc.) the ability to follow games in real-time statistically and video highlights via the web or mobile platform demonstrates the leadership of the CCHL.”

Kevin Abrams, Commissioner of CCHL commented, “The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to continue the progressive and innovative partnership with PSI. In the past five years, our position as leaders across North America at our level has been a result of the concepts and shared visions we have with our friends at Pointstreak. No league enjoys the web based features that we utilize on a daily basis. This makes the fan experience and player benefit combination beyond any of our competitors and the bar continues to be raised from last year’s outstanding Live Publisher feature to this year’s Mobile Applications for smart phones. The foundation of the world best real time scoring and statistics package, and the integration of all member team websites make us the league others continue to follow in the web based hockey industry.”
