Crusaders Finalize Hockey Staff

The Sherwood Park Crusaders are proud to announce the following hockey staff for the 2010-2011 season.

Brett Elanik – Associate Coach

Scott Cassels – Assistant Coach

Greg Lenuik – Head Scout

Dr. Brian Yee – Trainer

Louie Hamel – Equipment Manager

Brett is a former player of the Alberta Junior Hockey League. He played in Bonnyville from 1999-01 and then in Grande Prairie from 2001-2003.

He has coaching experience at the Junior A level where he served as an assistant coach for the Fort Saskatchewan Traders as well as head coaching at the Midget AAA level at the Canadian Athletic Club. He currently owns and operates his own business in the Edmonton Area.

Scott is a former Goalie from the Manitoba Junior Hockey league. He is a graduate from the University of Alberta obtaining a bachelor of Commerce degree. He has been coaching hockey in and around the Edmonton area for over 8 years at the Midget AAA and Minor Midget AAA levels.

Head Scout Greg Lenuik returns to the Crusaders. Greg worked with the Crusaders from 2006 to 2008 in a scouting capacity.

Our Trainer Dr. Brian Yee is a Chiropractor by trade. He owns and operates his own practice in Edmonton.

Equipment manager Louie Hamel has been with the Crusaders organization for over 8 years and during his time he has been virtually in charge of all training & equipment duties.

The organization is delighted to have added quality staff to the Crusaders hockey operations team and all new staff will play important roles in the organization moving forward.
